Usually found residing in Selene's pack, Puck was summoned on Selene's fifteenth birthday from a gifted Find Familiar scroll from Gorion. He stays in her pack for safety; because of the empathetic bond between a mage and the familiar, if the familiar dies, part of the mage dies also. Fortunately, he doesn't mind the pack at all and actually enjoys residing in it. He's very fond of apples. |

Wild Magic is a new type of magic that has appeared on Toril, characterized by powerful and dangerous surges or unpredictable magic. Anything can happen - the mage may be able to cast the original spell, but also cast a second random spell which could be harmful or benevolent. The magic surge could also summon or vanish object in the mages' pack; or it could just leave the mage with a severe case of hiccups. Selene's most famous surge mishap was the time when she accidentally summoned a Pit Fiend from the Abyss, with vanishing her group's gold coming second. |

Ever since leaving Candlekeep, Selene has been slowly developing strange powers - as of now, she can heal light wounds (Cure Light Wounds x2) and neutralize most poisons (Slow Poison x1). Also, those who are gods, god-touched, sensitive to auras, or anything of the like, would notice that around Selene there is a forboding and dark aura, full of anguish, pain, and death. Selene is unaware of this herself, however. |

One of the many children sired by the now-dead God, Bhaal, (although Selene doesn't know that) wandering the Sword Coast based on the Baldur's Gate series. She's unaware of her real parents and was raised in Candlekeep by Gorion (recently deceased). |

Selene, while technically a adult in the human world, is still just a child in Elven terms. However, being raised and surrounded by humans nearly all her life, she unconsciously considers herself as one. She's very naive about the world and the people outside, having been kept within Candlekeep for nearly all her life; this is the first time she's been outside its walls. She tries to do her best to be as adult-like as possible and help people whenever she can. However, she is somewhat cocky and overconfident, believing herself to being a seasoned warrior after adventuring for only two months. |

The world Selene comes from is very low on technology (think Earth in late Middle Ages), but abundant in magic. Monsters, dragons, and magical beings are quite common. Her world is actually similar to the Nexus; there are Planes that can be accessed only by high-level spells, powerful magic artifacts, or gateways located in a hard to reach area or requiring a certain spell or item to open. These Planes are a world in their own right; some of them are the residence of a certain god or pantheon of god. |
